Dr. Shen earned his medical degree and completed residencies in surgery, ultrasound and cardiology at the Medical College of Fudan University in Shanghai, China.

He completed his cardiac fellowship in Dijkzigt Hospital of Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

Dr. Shen is a member of the Scientific Council of the American Heart Association, the American Society of Echocardiography and the International Society of Cardiovascular Ultrasound. His specialty is cardiovascular research.
