  Joseph D. Lynch, M.D.   

Dr. Lynch graduated from the Creighton University School of Medicine. Following his Internal Medicine Residency at the Mayo Graduate School, he returned to Creighton to complete his Cardiovascular Fellowship training.

Dr. Lynch is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Cardiology and a former Governor of the Nebraska Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. He is also a past president of the Nebraska Chapter of the American Heart Association. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases and specializes in noninvasive cardiology.

Dr. Lynch has a long history of involvement with medical student education and has received the medical students’ Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching.

Dr. Lynch has served as Medical Director of Creighton’s Institute for Latin American Concern in the Dominican Republic since 1987. He also received the 2007 Distinguished Service Award from the Creighton School of Medicine.
