Dr. Abuissa received his medical degree from the University of Jordan, Amman-Jordan. He completed an internal medicine residency, a preventative cardiovascular fellowship, and a cardiovascular fellowship at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Dr. Abuissa then went on to finish a electriophyisgical fellowship at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He has a full-time faculty appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine.
